What is Fortress?

Fortress' path began with hundreds of enterprise IT & security projects across Israel and abroad. The amount of security systems organizations subscribes to and need to manage has sharpened the gaps that exist today. Those gaps have not been answered for a long time: lack of manpower, lack of expertise, natural growth of security solutions, security information gaps & lack of data consolidation, and lack of cybersecurity technology maximization.

Our journey to bridge the gaps and create a platform which provides a complete solution led us to creating Fortress.

Fortress is a vertical and horizontal solution – a complete product to manage a full range of best of breed cybersecurity solutions, its data, and its threats.

What is Merlin AI?

One of Fortress’ most important components is MerlinAI – our proprietary technology.
MerlinAI combines expert analyst intuition with the consistency, speed, and scalability of a machine. It illuminates the highest priority threats at any one time and rapidly synthesizes all of the context around an attack into a natural language. MerlinAI’s core algorithm was designed to automate complex processes at speed and scale and protect the organizations against sophisticated hackers.

MerlinAI investigations are enterprise-wide, piecing together disparate anomalies before determining a high-level conclusion about the nature, root cause, and extent of the security incident. This powerful analytical capability has been found to reduce triage time by at least 60%.

MerlinAI communicates valuable contextual information and response recommendations in the form of a concise, meaningful narrative that security experts can apply additional insight to. This analysis takes an average of three minutes to read, allowing non-technical responders to review and remediate sophisticated attacks in minutes. Investigations can also be applied on-demand to any event of interest.

MerlinAI begins its activity as soon as the Enterprise Immune System, or another security solution in the Fortress stack, detects unusual behavior.

Fortress to Date:

Fortress was founded in 2021 by Israeli cybersecurity experts who have worked together since 2015 at QMasters Cyber Security Services, a leading Israeli cybersecurity company providing custom security solutions and services, that has completed many projects for the Israeli Ministry of Defense in addition to enterprises, and is known for its advanced security development projects for international companies and security solution vendors.

Fortress has entered the Beta partner stage, with companies in Israel, Africa & South America, and is engaging with initial potential customers as well as preparing for phase II of development.
