Souvik Barat is a principal scientist at Tata Consultancy Services Research, India. He has 20+ years of experience in industrial research and his research interests include Digital Twin technology, Modelling and simulation of complex systems, Reinforcement Learning, Model- Driven Engineering, Software Product Lines, and Business Process Management. 

At present, he is actively involved in developing digital twins for complex business and societal systems. His work on digital twin for business systems led to the Best Innovation Award 2019 in TCS and contributed towards Gold Stevie Award 2021 under AI/ML category.  His effort in modeling a city to evaluate the efficacy of non-pharmaceutical interventions for controlling COVID-19 infections is extensively used by city-based health care organizations and municipality corporation.    
      
Earlier, he was a lead architect of a model-driven toolset that has been used for delivering large IT systems for over a decade and led a research initiative to develop a platform for product line architecture. 

Souvik has several patents to his credit and has authored several book chapters, journals and conference papers. He holds Ph.D. from Middlesex University, London, and a master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras. 
 

Dr. Ravid Shwartz-Ziv is a Faculty Fellow at the NYU Center for Data Science, where he works with Andrew Gordon Wilson and Yann Lecun on deep Bayesian networks, information theory, and self-supervised learning. In his work, he explores learning and dynamics in artificial and biological neural networks using information theory. In parallel to his academic research, Ravid joined Intel Israel in 2013, and since 2016 he became an applied research scientist at Intel’s internal AI group, IT AI, which utilizes cutting-edge AI methods for upgrading and transforming Intel’s critical processes. Ravid completed his Ph.D. at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem under Tali Tishby and Haim Sompolinsky and received the Google Ph.D. Fellowship in machine learning in 2018.

Boris Rabinovich is a Senior Data Scientist at Amdocs. Author of several patents and academic papers. Prior to Amdocs, Boris worked in multiple Machine Learning roles and his experiences span a wide variety of ML projects including end-to-end implementation of Time series forecasting, Recommendation systems, Predictive Modeling and NLP problems.

Zohar Karnin is a principal applied scientist working in AWS on tools for data scientists, including both data preparation and automl for tabular data. Zohar finished his Ph.D. in 2012, and worked in Yahoo research before joining Amazon. He is an active member in the machine learning research community.

Saharon Rosset is a Professor in the Department of Statistics and Operations Research in Tel Aviv University. His research interests are in statistical machine learning, statistical genetics, and modern statistical methods. He is a five time winner of major international data modeling competitions (KDD-Cup, INFORMS data mining challenge), with two best paper awards in KDD conferences. In 2018 his paper “From fixed-X to random-X regression: Bias-variance decompositions, covariance penalties, and prediction error estimation” with Ryan Tibshirani was selected for discussion by the Journal of the American Statistical Association.

Prof. Dan Amiram is the Vice Dean and the Joseph Safra Chaired Professor for Capital Markets and Financial Institutions at the Coller School of Management at Tel-Aviv University. He is the Director of the Henry Crown Institute of Business Research, the head of the Fintech concentration in the MBA program and was of the founding head of the TAU Blockchain Research Institute. Before joining TAU he was the Philip H. Geier Associate Professor at Columbia Business School. Dan has recieved prestigious awards for both research and teaching. Dan serves as a Board member in a bank and a digital insurance company. He also serves as the chairman of the United Nations Internal Controls Advisory Committee.

Dr. Orna Berry is an entrepreneur, computer scientist, industry executive and the former chief scientist in the government of Israel. Orna is known for her efforts to promote excellence, entrepreneurship, innovation, women in science and technology in the Israeli society and beyond. In the last three years she has planned research infrastructure in TELEM, established by the Israeli Academy of Sciences, and chaired the committees building the national programs for Quantum Science and Technology and for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Effective October 2021 Orna is a Technical Director at the office of the CTO at Google Cloud. Throughout her career, Dr. Berry has been the recipient of various awards.

Ben Nassi is a postdoctoral researcher at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) and a former Google employee. He specializes in securing the interface of cyber-physical systems with the digital world: autonomous cars, IoT devices (video cameras, smart irrigation systems, routers), drones, and etc. He works on security of AI and perception, side-channel attacks, TEMPEST attacks. and privacy related issues. His research has been presented at top academic conferences (S&P, CCS,USENIX Security) published in journals (TIFS), and covered by international media (Wired, ArsTechnica, Motherboard, The Washington Post, Bloomberg, Business Insider). Ben has spoken at prestigious venues including HITB 21, SecTor 21, RSAC 21, BlackHat USA 20, CodeBlue 20, SecTor 20, RSAC 20, and CyberTech 19.

Regev is a research scientist at Verily Research (formerly Google Life Sciences), currently studying artificial intelligence techniques for important biomedical problems, including applications in endoscopy, minimally invasive surgery, microscopy and drug design. His research interests include computer vision, signal processing and optimization, focusing on interpretable and foundational designs of deep networks for medical applications. Ron Shamir (PhD, UC Berkeley 1984) is a Sackler professor of Bioinformatics in the Blavatnik School of Computer Science at Tel Aviv University (TAU). His group develops algorithms in bioinformatics for understanding the genome and human disease. Software tools developed by Shamir’s group are in use around the world. Shamir is the founder and head of the Edmond J. Safra Center for Bioinformatics at TAU. He has published > 300 scientific works, including 17 books and edited volumes, and has supervised > 60 research students. He was on the founding steering committee of RECOMB, co-founded the Israeli Society of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, and was society president. He is a recipient of the Landau Prize in Bioinformatics, the Kadar family prize for excellence in research, and a Fellow of the ISCB and the ACM.

Gal Shaul is Co-Founder and CTO at Augury - a Digital Machine Health company building a future where people can always rely on the machines that matter. He and his team work with customers and partners to transform how they work to make products, deliver services and improve lives. Gal has extensive experience in signal processing, software engineering and embedded systems. Prior to founding Augury, Gal was the Head of Software development at EndyMed, a medical devices start-up. He also worked at Zoran, a chip manufacturing company, as a firmware engineer. Gal holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Israel Institute of Technology (Technion).

Shady Abu-Hussein is a Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering at Tel Aviv University, supervised by Prof. Raja Giryes. He received his B.Sc from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2017 in Electrical and Computer Engineering. During his time at Tel Aviv University he also worked at IBM Research Lab (summer 2021) and Intel (2017-Now). His current research focuses on solving imaging inverse problems with arbitrary observation model by adapting off-the-shelf pretrained deep neural networks.
